Duck Club
Located roughly 10 miles west of Gridley, our 40+ acre duck club serves as the heart of many of our outdoor events and gatherings. Throughout the California waterfowl season, we host group hunting weekends that can accommodate 10 or more men for an unforgettable experience filled with great food, quality hunting, fellowship, and time spent building lasting friendships in the outdoors.

“Pursuing the Abundant Life” has always been the heartbeat of the Wing & A Prayer Duck Club. Our goal is not simply to provide a great hunting opportunity, but to create a place where men can step away from the busyness of life to relax, connect with one another, pray, fellowship, and enjoy time together in the outdoors — and of course, chase a few birds along the way.
The Wing & A Prayer property is located among some of the finest rice fields and waterfowl habitat in all of Northern California. Two of our fields border the historic Gray Lodge Wildlife Area, an area widely known for some of the best waterfowl hunting in the state.
Throughout the season, we offer both duck and goose hunts depending on weather conditions and bird activity. Over the years, we’ve worked hard to build a club and hunting experience that is welcoming to both seasoned hunters and first-time outdoorsmen alike. We provide plenty of equipment to help get you in the field and on the birds — all we ask is that you bring yourself, your appetite, and a valid hunting license.
