Why Give?
Wing & A Prayer exists to give men an opportunity to step away from the noise and pressure of everyday life and spend meaningful time outdoors with other godly men.
Through hunts, weekends away, events, meals, and time together at the property, we create an environment where guys can slow down, build real relationships, and have conversations that often do not happen in everyday life. There is something different about getting away from work, responsibilities, phones, and the normal routine and simply spending time around a fire, in a blind, or sharing a meal with other men.
For some, it is an opportunity to strengthen their faith. For others, it may be their first meaningful exposure to Christian community. Our hope is to create a welcoming environment where men can connect, ask questions, be encouraged, and ultimately spend time around people who genuinely want to point them toward God.
We believe some of the most impactful conversations happen naturally through relationships. A guy who may never walk into a church on Sunday might gladly accept an invitation to go hunting, shoot trap, spend a weekend outdoors, or simply hang out with a group of guys. Wing & A Prayer exists to help create those opportunities.
Making those experiences possible comes with real costs. Throughout the year, the ministry covers our property lease, ongoing operations, equipment, food, lodging, and the events we host. It takes thousands of dollars each year to maintain the property and continue creating these opportunities for men.
Our goal is to make as many experiences as possible available at little to no cost to the guys we invite. We never want the cost of a hunt, a weekend away, a meal, or an event to be the reason someone cannot participate.
Every donation goes directly toward supporting the ministry, our events, outreach, and ongoing operations. Wing & A Prayer is not operated for personal profit, and no board member or ministry leader receives income from donations.
Sometimes the impact begins with something as simple as an invitation to spend a day outdoors. That invitation can lead to a friendship, a meaningful conversation, a stronger relationship with God, or someone encountering Jesus for the first time.

Every contribution is used to help create opportunities for fellowship, outdoor experiences, and sharing the Gospel with men and families in our community.

Absolutely — we would love to have you get involved. Wing & A Prayer is built around community, fellowship, and serving alongside one another, and there are always opportunities to volunteer and help support the ministry.
During waterfowl season, we regularly need help around the clubhouse and during group hunting weekends. For larger events, extra hands are always appreciated with setup, cooking, hosting, and helping create a welcoming environment for everyone attending.
At our twice-monthly men’s Bible studies, there are also opportunities to serve by helping cook meals, bringing food or drinks, assisting with setup, or simply showing up and investing your time in the community. No matter your skills, experience, or availability, any help and involvement is greatly appreciated.
